JoAnne -- that Blue Man issue scares a lot of people.  Did you see him on the
Today Show on TV?  He really is blue!!  However -- Colloidal Silver isn't what
turned him blue.  If you saw what he calls CS (he showed a glass of it on TV)
it was a milky, murky product whose contents he would not reveal.  The people
here on the list speculate that he added salt to his water before brewing it
(making Mild Silver Protein instead of CS, I believe).  We even speculated that
he used tap water instead of distilled water.  Worry not.  You will see that
what we refer to as EIS (our own name for CS) -- Electrically Isolated Silver
-- is nothing but the very purest silver suspended in the very purest distilled
water, and the result is crystal clear.  It has been determined that you would
drown from the quantity of water required to ingest enough silver to ever be a
problem.  And that's for a human, much less a large animal.

When I was being introduced to CS, many years ago, the man that I was buying it
from cautioned me that the large quantity required for a horse could possibly
turn the horse's skin blue.  I told him that the horse was better off alive
with blue skin, than dead with pink skin -- and dead is where he was headed.
That was ten years ago.  That horse had EPM and while most horses diagnosed
with that disease at that time are long since dead, mine is alive and well.
And his skin is not blue -- despite being dosed with a quart of CS per day for
the better part of ten years.  I always thought that it might be a nice side
effect though -- as he is a grey horse, blue skin might be kinda pretty!!  :-)

Something else you might be interested in -- the Blue Man has been contacted by
a member of this list offering a way to reverse his skin color back to normal.
He was not interested.  Apparently, he enjoys the notariety!!

I understand,

Now I am wondering if I should treat my mare with this or not ?   I read an
article referencing that "Blue Man" and his issues and experiences ... someone
please speak up.
