Personally I appreciate the fact that you are a retired Electrical Engineer (I think you said once). You have allot of knowledge that could be potentially useful to the rest of us on this list. Not everyone on this list has the technical knowledge, or expertise that you have. I understand that it is easy with this extensive knowledge and experience to be, at times, a little short with people who do not match it. I also understand that it is easy to assume that everyone knows the technical jargon that you so easily throw about. It is not necessarily true. If you are writing primarily to other technical folks then this sort of thing is great. I suspect that most people on this list are not of that variety and may find much of what you say obtuse and therefore not as useful as it could be. I am not saying that you should do anything differently. Your way is your way, but you might keep in mind that we are all here to learn and how something is presented is every bit as important as the content of it.
