Good point Sol; for my dog, sometimes flax seeds only, but not showing signs of 
allergy--however hardly doing these days.

Be careful with flax oil for dogs. I read that many dogs are allergic to it. If 
your dog perhaps is allergic or has developed an allergy to it, it could be 
perpetuating the itch condition.

I'm not surprised, my cats get straight CS (EIS) as their drinking water and 
they also love it, and drink more because of that.
