[Sol] Be careful with flax oil for dogs. I read that many dogs are allergic

to it.

====================================

It's not just a matter of "allergy," though that is certainly possible. In
order to obtain the beneficial Omega 3 fats found in flax oil, the body must
convert them first. Many humans (let alone animals) are lacking an enzyme to
do that conversion. This is why it's so much easier and more direct to eat
wild salmon, or grass-fed beef.

Wolves, the predecessors of dogs, were never designed to eat flax oil. This
is why I give my dogs salmon oil.
