I ordered the CST3 with timer (high voltage 33v output)
from goodvitality.com It only uses a 9v battery so not sure how you get
33v output from that.
## They probably use voltage doubler chips, but voltage is virtually
irrelevant and timers can't work to predict much with so many water
variables involved.
IOW Whoever makes these, doesn't have a clue.
You'd be better off with just the 9 volt battery.
Im not sure about using an air pump because that is putting a plastic
tube in the
water while creating cs...
## Plastic isn't a big problem, but aerating the CS with air pollutants
can be.
To some extent, bubbling Carbon Dioxide into the water will make some
Carbonic Acid which will form Silver Carbonate, a Photo Reactive
compound...and excessive Oxygen will make some Silver Oxides that tends to
make a batch yellow.
If you have an air freshener in the house, various cleaners or Sulphur
Dioxide gas from an upwind coal fired power plant????
The results are anybodies guess.
A few large bubbles will move the water fairly harmlessly, many small
bubbles may contaminate it.
