Hi Kathie,

I don't have much experience with cats or this particular kind of
injury. I have treated a simple (human) eye infection with CS,
soaking a cotton ball in it and holding it over the closed eyelid a
while. It went away overnight.

The way some folks have reported small cuts and burns responding to
prompt topical application also is suggestive.

I'd put some in her water dish, certainly, and I'd probably use both
if I had any doubt. You are trying to prevent any infection. If you
can do that, I suspect the healing will be much more rapid.

Let us know?

Mike D.
