Dear Kathie.
I can, safely, state that the use of MSM as an incorporate
in
your ocular solution of CS is-----quite non-toxic (or at least it has proven to
be so in all of our researches throughout the past three years). In our animal
experiments (dogs, cats and horses), we found that the "pre-treatment" of all
lacerations and open wounds with a generous application of 3.5% H2O2
(commercially available at all drug/grocery stores) added greatly to
establishing
a sterile field. The most effective CS solutions employed were approximately 10
ppm. One cautionary note; water-based CS solutions leave a "very fine"
particle
deposition, therefore, in cases of import, it is adviseable to re-apply the CS
solution approximately 2 hours throughout the day......until marked success is
evident. Additionally, we were quite successful in ameliorating very
challenging
abraided and enlarged skin lacerations, using sterile gauze saturated with 10 to
30 ppm CS, covered with non-porous material and bound with cotton cloth (these
bandages were never left in place longer than 4 hours).
I hope this information is of value to you.
                                    Sincerely. Brooks Bradley.
p.s. The undiluted 3.5% H2O2 "has never" scarred, burned or damaged in any
way----the eyes of any of the animal subjects we have used it on.
