Hi Nikita, You could rub and press the soles of his feet, especially the soles of the heels and the back and side edges of the heel soles. You should be able to press and rub quite hard but there may be spots which are very painful. You could do a few, "all over" pressing and rubbing and you may find that the sore spots have disappeared. All over foot rubs and gentle twisting and pulling of toes and feet will always feel good.
That vague wandering pain could be due to dehydration or maybe constipation. Maybe due to stiff, tight shoulder blades which are 'stuck' onto the ribs due to tension or self protection. Any movement exercise of the arms which engage the shoulder blades may help. clasp hands and "rock the baby with both hands". Or "throw the baby over you shoulder". Please don't make him go into pain. Has he recently fallen or almost fallen or experienced something to frighten him? You can tell him he is "safe now". If that seems to have effect then Tell him many times in different tones of voice. "You are safe now", "Tom is safe now", "He is safe now". Long-stroke back rubs just next to the spine will help this immensely too. Take care not to press on the spinal eminences in case of bruising. My first thought was a Calcium/magnesium supplement to relax muscles and nerves ... Also drink plenty water.
