PT- I only speak from personal experience, but the Infrared heat
emitters have done wonderful things for me in healing knee injuries,
neck injuries, sore back, shoulders, etc. I had severe neck problems
once, shooting pains for just slightly turning my head, numb sensations,
etc. and lay on the couch with the emitter heating my neck for a couple
of hours. The pain totally went away and has not returned. I surmise
that the heat stretches the tendons and ligaments and helps them go back
into correct alignment. Just my theory.

100 watt emitter lasts for years, mine still works, use in ceramic
socket lamp like for poultry or photography.
