PT- I only speak from personal experience, but the Infrared heat emitters have done wonderful things for me in healing knee injuries, neck injuries, sore back, shoulders, etc. I had severe neck problems once, shooting pains for just slightly turning my head, numb sensations, etc. and lay on the couch with the emitter heating my neck for a couple of hours. The pain totally went away and has not returned. I surmise that the heat stretches the tendons and ligaments and helps them go back into correct alignment. Just my theory. http://www.petdiscounters.com/search.asp?keyword=ceramic+heat+emitter&search =GO 100 watt emitter lasts for years, mine still works, use in ceramic socket lamp like for poultry or photography.
