Silver chloride is what is formed when ionic silver is digested. It has
a solubility of only about .8 or so ppm depending on the temperature,
and thus most of it will quickly precipitate out if in a container. In
large quantities it can cause argyria.

The MgCl will react with the AgOH (ionic portion) producing AgCl,
silver chloride. I would not recommend it.
