Hmmm, call me a dumb bum but not quite sure I understand? I'm not judging anyone MA. I just think some may get sucked in by emails they think are legit, too trusting of a computer screen. There are sooooo many scams out there that I don't trust any emails. PayPal is one which should never need updating, other than re-submitting the date on an individuals card when the current card date approaches expiry date? I haven't looked at PayPals details for quite some time but I think from memory there is provision to go 'verified?' or something or other, I declined that offer, but like I said, I'm really scratching to remember how it works now. The telephone etc emails required me to re-submit my card details due to some upset in *their* system, I don't pay that bill by direct debit so I knew immediately it was just another scam to get my details. I'm actually against paying any bills by direct debit. Besides being open to a host of other potential scams out there bill money would be automatically deducted from my account before I can buy food for the table, so I'd rather let them take me to court or whatever before I went without food for the family, 'Failure in duty of care' to me <g>. For example, if Utility outgoing expenses exceed my incoming earnings, then let them cut whatever they want off. Let's see if they can forcibly remove/disconnect my basic utilities for survival if you like? Oops, Im wandering off topic here.

I get emails fairly frequently telling me my PayPal account details need updating and if I don't submit my details again there will be restrictions or some other BS put on me.......DELETE! It never stops. Recently I've received two (2) emails telling me my telephone/internet etc will be cut off or some BS if I don't re-submit my details....DELETE! I don't even enter the link they include. Most times people are their own worst enemy. N.
