Benzene is one of the toxins used in natural gas horizontal hydro-fracturing, commonly known as 'fracking'. This is one of the many chemicals we are fighting against when we fight against fracking, which is beginning to menace more and more areas beneath which oil- or gas-bearing shale lure that boom-bust, polluting industry. Millions and millions gallons of fresh water is augmented with highly toxic chemicals, injected into shale to shatter it and drive up natural gas, and then the water (now truly hazardous waste, but thanks to Cheney, no longer identified as such) must be pumped back out and somehow disposed of. These gastards and gasholes have the temerity to offer this toxic waste as a dust-control and de-icer for rural roads. Can you imagine how this application will proliferate these toxins? Into streams, wells, aquifers, and when evaporated, into the air we breathe. By the time the sheeple realize what's been done, so many places will be superfund clean-up sites that there will be no funds to finance them. This pollution is irreversible.
Sorry folks, this is the other battle I'm fighting, besides Lyme disease, but they're interconnected and anyone with health issues or common sense needs to learn what's going on, before it's too late.
