PT, Lena, what concentration of DMSO are each of you describing? I bet
pure (99%) DMSO with no added water behaves as Lena describes, while
"99% Pure" DMSO, diluted 70% or 54% or whatever percent in water will
act as PT describes, not freezing in the fridge.

Yes, the labeling I've seen is that confusing. They tout "99% Pure" DMSO
on bottles that are purposefully diluted to 70-something or 50-something
percent. The label also shows the percent of added water, but it has
always required a careful look to make sure I know what I'm getting.

They also sell 99% pure with no added water.

That's been my experience anyway.
