Well yes and no. They are only shut down for the compounding part, in other words if they make compounds they cannot sell them but any compounds which have Health Canada (Read big pharma) approval can be sold.
This is a scam deluxe. Nobody has died from herbs compared to a huge number that care killed by pharmaceuticals annually but pharmaceuticals are legal and "safe". The ones who shut them down is the pharmacists who get zero training in herbs or herbal mixtures yet somehow they are in charge of regulating them. Political power is a wondrous thing.
