I hang mine with the silver strips that come with the colloid master. the flat shape makes it easy to position them in relation to each other. The coins have been used long enough that all semblance of coinage has long ago disappeared and the strips still don't show much use. I hang them down about half way . I use a gallon Sun Tea jar with a spigot on the side to decant the CS and leave the amount from the valve down for starter for the next gallon. I wouldn't coat anything that goes into the water, who knows what might be in the coating. Dave
