I wouldn't be surprised to see Ken (Ode) chime in on this thread soon.
He's done a lot of testing and if I remember the general results, if
you speed up the polarity switching beyond every 30 seconds or so you
start to really slow down production.

Stirring is a big plus, which is why his and some other units feature it.

There's a computer program called Fritzing that lets you mock up
circuits on the image of a solderless breadboard... a very elaborate
pictorial diagram generator. I'm thinking it would be a nifty way for
you to communicate building instructions to Reece, John.

Sadly it's not a circuit emulator, but it auto-generates schematics
from the breadboard diagram and will even facilitate producing PC
boards to implement the designs you create.

Amazing things available these days!

Be well,

Mike D.

Have you got a link to Fritzing?

There is a very good and free circuit simulator, called LTspice IV.

I can also use it to produce a schematic. And anyone can use it, if I provide the circuit file, to see how my circuit works and play with modifications, if they wish. There is also a very well run Yahoo Groups user's group that helps people learn how to use this program.
