Yes.

Anything that puts out a DC voltage
between 3 and 18 volts should work
with the components I have in mind.

Perhaps you could do the experiments
that determine how fast
the polarity can be reversed
before it really starts to slow
silver ion production.

Do you have one of those little pocket
conductivity or concentration meters
to measure the progress of the solution?

That would allow you to time
various reversal settings
to reach the same result.

I expect that once the reversal time
exceeds some limit,
progress is pretty unaffected
by making the reversal time much longer.
But keeping the reversal time short
improves the cleanliness and life
of the electrodes.
So knowing what that critical reversal time is,
is a useful thing to know.
