What color are the wires? Are they for the DC output, or the AC input? The DC 
output should have a plug to plug into the printer.    In the U.S. only 2 
wires, red and black, are connected to this plug. You will have to remove the 
plug and strip some insulation in order to attach alligator clips. The red wire 
will be positive, the black negative.
I don't remember your location, so don't know what connector you have for the 
AC supply. If this doesn't help, look for a model number on the adapter and 
post it. Might be able to be more specific with that information. What output 
voltage does the adapter produce?
