If I may ask, what are you using the digital multi-meter for? I'm new to the group and am making CS, I have lots of questions but not much time during the week days, working 2 jobs.

If you live in the U.S., and there is a Walmart, anywhere near, they sell a small, digital multimeter in the automotive section for about $5.
