Hi Sandee, I haven't seen all of the K2 youtubery yet, but it's nice to know that what I've been taking is good. Nice to have a deeper understanding of its dynamics, too! I'd had trouble replacing my bottle of K locally but found Bronson's online. Bronson's Vitamin K Triple Play has: Phytonadione...100mg Menatetrenone...400mcg Menaquinone...50mg I take it at night along with two tabs of calcium,mag,& zinc. Throughout the day I take other minerals, especially magnesium and potassium, but had heard that K shepherds calcium to where it's useful, rather than problematic places. After breaking my ankle, I took that seriously.
I figure with all the C I take, there aren't likely to be weak places in my blood vessels that would stimulate the patch-formation of plaque. Who knows? I wish I could keep all of this in my head. I'm interested to hear about your eye drops. I have Fuch's Endothelial dystrophy and after reading about Optimel drops from New Zealand, and having a short window of time to get my Fuch's numbers up before scheduled partial corneal transplant, I added Manuka Hoeny (their main ingredient) to my already-helpful CS/DMSO drops. My cornea specialist was very impressed with how much better that worked than the salt drops normally used that he's looking into it. Meanwhile, I'm not often as compliant as I should be, as the Manuka stings intensely (the Optimel folks mentioned this, too). I'm lucky this-all worked satisfactorily, as I now realize Lymies can't take the life-long anti-rejection meds that transplant would require, and the odds weren't very good even if that had been OK.
