What a great looking piece of something. When I was a kid, there used to
be things like this around in some chiropractors offices along with
diathermy wands, etc.
Looks like it's one of those that has a vibrator in the wand portion and a
step up transformer which puts high frequency high voltage on the glass
tubes. No doubt they are filled with a gas that lights up violet when
bombarded with the high frequency/voltage. I suspect it's useless but what
a conversation piece!
ebay has something for everybody.
