My experience with submerged electrodes has been unsatisfactory in that with in
several days the CS  tends to go yellow when  the ppm is above about 9.  I
doubt that you are making 30 ppm. I can test it for you if you like.

I do not understand the arc process used by roger and Marshall as the work in
air.. The arc process that Dr. Bill Biagoli and myself uses a carbon dioxide
gas to blanket the arc. This prevents the formation of nitrates with are bad
news.

The arc process will make about 5 ppm per hour of operation depending on the
volume of DW used, and the T.E. is almost zero to zero, which means that it is
the smallest particle size one can get.
