I had been making CS with 3-9volts and 2 silver wires, 1 qt. jar of
distilled water. I ran this for about 2 hrs. and mostly got a gold colored
solution with a metallic taste.
I recently started making it with 2 - 1oz. silver (.999 fine) ingots and
ran it for 1 hr. (I thought because of the increase in silver mass it would
take less time to make same quality cs. I have made 2 batches so far and
both are almost clear with very little taste. I watched the new batches
carefully and noticed quite a bit of yellowish matter (more so than with the
wires) coming off the silver, also stirred it frequently. Does anyone have
any ideas about this?

Thanks

Janine
