Marshal, I don't know the answer to that one. But, if you look at the little stakes that identify the plants in the greenhouse, you will see letters after the names that say for instance "VFN" The N in those letters mean that they are more tolerant of nicotine. I rely on my daughter alot for my gardening info. She is the one that is really into gardening and has the green thumb. If it weren't for her, I would get the award for plant torture :o). She has given me the nick-name of "Black-Flag Fingers".
