It is my opinion this foot/mouth disease is not fatal. It was a ploy by some power that be to slaughter
other-wise healthy animals. The farmers will be feeling this in Britain for the next decade. Cripple the farmers, you cripple
the economic/food supply of a nation. Now they want to start this crap up here in the states.
Problem is, People have never seen a texas rancher when some "authority" comes along and says they are going to butcher his herd, with or without his consent.
Have any of you researched what the long term effect of this "disease" is? Can it kill a nation?
If they are so concerned about a disease among livestock of spreading, why do they allow aids and other
spreadable disease among some in our populace to walk freely around without forced quarantine?
Makes no sense to me. They aren't killing our livestock. The midwest and Texan farmers are going to
be smarter than the Brits.

If CS were to be used, starting now, in drinking water, wouldn't it provide
some measure of protection against this disease? Have seen no indication
that it is a mechanical situation (like the folded prion), so assume it is
bacterial or viral.
