condensed steam and ice crystals depending on conditions.  Even your car

 ##  Yes, I too have seen clear days at the local major air hub with many
criss crossing vapor trails, but that doesn't indicate anything weird. Just
as water freezes at 32 deg...not 31 deg...clouds can "kick" over a fine
edge of humidity and temp conditions and appear in a clear sky.  That shows
on weather satellites all the time.

[distortion] I would check the source before buying at face value.  Air
traffic in general is modifying the weather. Airforce tankers are a portion
of air traffic.  This is no secret and is a genuine concern.
