I read these two things today, and now I am concerned, since I do one and
just started doing the other.
I read that
1) you should not use coffee filters to filter because you might be adding
an "unknown" into the CS. I've been using brown, unbleached ones because I
thought that would be a safer thing to use. Should I be concerned?
2) you should not seed, which I have only done the last couple of days after
I read that you could do this (it sure does save time). But again, I read
that if you do, and if something is not pure with your CS, you can just be
furthering a problem.
Over an immense period of time, I have accumulated 3 gallons (besides what I
drink). Should I be worried that it may not be good?!
Thanks for any input you may have.
Valerie
