I don't use salt Chuck. I used it once to see how to do the calculations and
then quit using it when I realized you weren't supposed to use it.

As far as your meter goes, take a measure of your distilled water before
your CS
making run.
Take another measure after.
The difference is your ppm approximately.
For a more exact reading, send a sample to ol' Bob with $7 and the top from
your
neighborhood grocer.
