        Thanks Connie. Do you use a pinch of sea salt in the distilled water 
that you make the CS in. If not I don't see how you can test the level of salt 
and then derive a ppm level for the silver which is what you actually do 
according to the literature.. Most people say not to use salt so I'm confused.

        Could only guess that I also have a generator from the same vendor in
        question.
        I also have the 50 something dollar Hanna meter.

        I find it of great value.
        My understanding from the start is that it is not 100% accurate, but 
would
        give me a good idea of the ppm of my ''home brew'' when used adjusting 
for
        its limitations.

        It indicated to me, right from the start, that I did not want to use 
WalMart
        DW.

        I recently had Ole Bob also test my brew.
        His findings were right inline with what my Hanna meter was telling me.
        (again, accounting for its limitations)

        I have no regrets in spending that extra bit of money.
        It has been a valuable tool for me.
