Your unfortunate experience reinforces that suspicion. > > Kevin Nolan > Argyria? I hate using that word. LOL I guess I am still in denial on some of it. I know that is the term for it but just hate seeing it and hearing the word. LOL Thank you for your post though. No ideas though on trying anything to help it? I find it really odd that some of the girls at work say they don't see the grey either. Even my husband and son say they don't see it. My husband says I just look darker to a degree to him and that I have never been a real pink person. I have some Cherokee and have a slight dark skin tone anyway with no real pinkness. I have a friend who is African-American and he just looks at me and says you white folks are too worried about color. LOL I knew him before I started taking the WaterOz and made a comment "Oh well if it turns me grey the world needs another color to be prejudice of. LOL When I had Lyme I held out on hope that I would get better although many told me I wouldn't. Just like now I am holding out hope I will find either something to make it better or start telling people to Kiss my A## when they say I look grey. LOL The good thing is it only seems to be under certain lighting circumstances, the bad thing is its the lights I work under constantly that seems to be the worst. Another good thing is they are going to do some remodeling at the club where I work and I heard one of the men make a comment they were going to get rid of the lights they have because it gives people a washed out look. They are talking about going to Halogen lights. I sure hope that helps me. I am going today to get a hair cut and wear my hair closer to my face than I have in the past. Funny thing is I see people everyday with bad complexions and weird colored skin either from too much sun or liver spots. My skin is perfect under normal lights. Another odd thing is it only seems to be on the face area as far as I can tell. Last year I couldn't handle talking about it to anyone but my closest friends and thats why I haven't been here. I did make a choice and that was to get well. At this point I am well so one feat is accomplished and now to deal with the lesser of the two evils I feel. Years ago I raised dogs and worked some with Silver Nitrate sticks to stop bleeding on puppies that I removed the dewclaws on. The Silver Nitrate sticks had a cross bones and said poisonous not to be taken internally right on the package. If you even touched the end of the sticks it would temporarily turn your skin black. It did wear off though after several days. They must have been something different from the silver nitrate in WaterOz was though. I can tell you that some people are really rude and obnoxious. One lady at the club a year and a half ago was drunk and it was right after Halloween and she took one look at me and started laughing hysterically and saying What is wrong with you? It must be some kind of joke. I was a little in shock at the time and very upset. I see her now and avoid her but I am thinking all the time at least I don't weigh 250 pounds like she does and a drunk like she is most of the time. She was also making fun of others in the room too so I guess I gave her a past time. LOL I do think it getting better and the one doctor said in time he thinks it will fade. He said heavy metals like silver take awhile to be excreted from the body. He also suggested I see a dermatologist and see if they had any ideas. If Rosemary's site is right they don't have any ideas either. But I can honestly say Rosemary's site does not portray the truth or else she has a much bigger problem with it than I do. That grey shirt she is wearing in one picture is a dead giveaway to me that the picture is doctored to accentuate the problem. Anyway, I am still looking for answers. :( Janis
