My first encounter with 'faith healing' was via a devout Catholic woman, not in the least prone to hysteria or faddishness, who reported receiving healing from a person she had met at a prayer gathering. She'd broken her wrist and it wasn't healing well. She had been in pain for many weeks. He held his hands over the area and she felt warmth. Nothing truly dramatic happened, but she points to that as the turning point in her recovery from the injury. So, if any of this is to be believed, healing *does* still happen today, even within the Church! [moving to the off topic list for replies!!!] Be well, Mike D.
