Chuck's comment points out that you may be put off by the potential religious connotations of this sort of thing, though I know and know of Christians who are healers who use this and similar techniques. My exposure to it, so far, does not in any way preclude continued practice of your religious faith, but merely provides a meditative framework by which the holy spirit, if it so moves, may act through you. I'm not the sort who has had much exposure or experience with the paranormal, but my brief experiments with this have yielded some sensations and results I have a hard time explaining. Nothing dramatic or conclusive, but still interesting. I have lacked the time, money, and contacts to pursue it further. Others on the list can say more.
