Why don't you try a commercial DW -- I get good
results with DW from Walgreens drugstore for $1:00
per gallon.

Why not try for a CLEAR batch?  If you are using
a generator with three 9 volt batteries you should
be able to get a clear product.

Forget boiling - much too HOT
Try the next batch at about 100 degrees with distilled water.

It is hard to recommend any more since you haven't
supplied any info on the generator set up you are using
