My EM-Probe magnetic pulser when left in one spot for several minutes on a known sore point like a knee joint with osteo arthritis where the cartilage is being ground up, causes a pain similar to a tooth ache. I can actually feel something happening. It also causes a hurt spot like on my fractured big toe. It does not have enough power to test with a washer, so I really don't know how else to test it. DR Gordon said the pulse rise time has to be 10 micro seconds or better, he designed the unit to operate at 70 pulses per second and only outputs 2 gauss. He thinks all are critical. My one shot old magnetic pulser has way more power and makes the washer jump about a foot, but the pulse rise time is probably pretty slow. Gordon claims that kind of power is not needed. The cell phone controversey is a low power type and I hear that newer cell phones move the antenna more than two inches from your ear to reduce exposure to wireless waves. Gordon also said he is on a Yahoo groups websight on Electro Meds and they talk about magnetic pulsers. They think 70 pulses per second is optimal for causing healing. Brickey
