The first thing that came to my mind was "ulcer".

I'm not saying it is but you can go to a lab and get
a check for helicobacter pylori bacteria and if
you have it, follow the treatment protocol found in
the silver-list archive. [url at bottom of all these posts.]

And maybe you can still have an ulcer without the presence
of this bug. I don't know.

Anyone have a better diagnosis?

Are you taking CS now?

Hi Wayne. This caught my attention. I have digestive problems -- oh boy, do
I have digestive problems. If I don't eat, I have gas and serious belching
and feel sick to my stomach. If I do eat, ditto except I'm not nauseated. The
gas and belching can be accompanied by acid reflux. What I eat doesn't seem
to make any difference -- everything makes me sick. The only thing that seems
to help is antacids. Living on them isn't a good lifestyle, so I try to get
along without them. Feel like I ought to see a doctor but that would mean a
lot of expensive tests and in the end they'll probably want to put me on a drug
that does about the same job as the antacids. I have tried probiotics in the
past -- well, what I've tried is yogurt and guess what? It gave me acid
stomach. I'm wondering about the enzymes -- I don't know much about that. Can you point me in the right direction? I'm sure tired of living this way. By the
way -- other than the digestive problem, I'm a pretty healthy individual --
58 years old, in pretty good weight and shape, very active physically, I think my only other health problems are slightly elevated cholesterol and tinnitus.
FWIW. Any help will be appreciated. MA
