When I take DMSO orally with CS it is in concentrations in the range of
10-20%. Keep in mind that the MSDS that you refer to is about full
stregnth.

Side effects include drying of the skin due to dehydration and fat
removal. Topical use generally requires the use of moisturizers or
pretreatment of the area with aloe vera gel to prevent drying when it is
used daily for more than a few days.

Boiling at 372 degrees and inhaling the vapors is not something most of
us would do.

As with many things caution is in order when mixing with other household
chemicals. 

Those who use DMSO know that it is a penetrant and that skin must be
free of anything they do not want carried into the blood stream.

An MSDS sounds more scary than the actual substance is.
