Bill, I usually make up half a cup for a sinus washing session. About 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon table salt in 1/4 cup hot water. Stir to dissolve and add homemade CS to about 1/2 cup level. Then take a 50ml plastic syringe, fill that and assume the position lying backwards over the edge of the bath, and gently flow the solution into one nostril first 'til the drowning sensation starts, then a bit more cs/salt in the other nostril so it doesn't feel left out. I lie back as long as I can but gagging starts fairly soon. Roll over, spit, blow and the disgusting produce. Do again, starting with the other nostril etc and repeat until the solution is finished.
