Combining oral CS and oral DMSO may make the difference here. DMSO will penetrate and carry CS to tissues that it might not normally penetrate unless very high doses are used. DMSO increases the efficacy without increasing dose. At least this is my experience using CS alone and then with DMSO to over come a bad case of the Fujian Flu last fall. I would not hesitate to use this combination orally any time I had doubts or thought I was dealing with a particulary virulent organism.
