Well, a vegetarian/vegan diet is what I blame for most of my arthritis.
It takes protein for joint repair and maintenance, and I didn't get
enough for most of the past 20 years. Eliminating dairy can be good or
not, depending on what you have left to eat after they are out of the diet.
Celery can give me a horrendous whole body flare up, with every single
joint in my body, including my back and spine just screaming.
I dislike the idea of "one size fits all" recommendations such as
"eliminate dairy" because every body is different. No offense. My
experience because I developed so many problems from the
vegetarian/vegan diet. Which is NOT suitable or helpful for everyone,
and can be detrimental, if it doesn't suit you.

Dr. McDougall says eliminate dairy products for arthritis. He promotes a
vegetarian diet. I get a little arthritis in my fingers when I take
nightshade plants. I do not carry resentment. I forgive everyone.
