I am going to try to be polite: I seriously doubt anyone knows thousands
of people well enough to make that kind of conclusion about any
correlation between diet and arthritis. It certainly fits my definition
of "jumping to conclusions" to say that a vegetarian diet does not cause
arthritis in any individual, or to say a vegetarian diet is best for
every human. I think my statement that a vegetarian diet is not best for
everyone far less of a sweeping conclusion, but then I don't think every
one is the same.
However, if you will send the link to Dr. McDougall's website I'll take
a look.

So sorry to hear your arthritis is so bad. It could have another cause.
I know thousands of vegetarians who do not have arthritis so I don't
think that is the cause. I have been a vegetarian for almost 39 years
now. My father had terrible arthritis in his back for years and he was
NOT a vegetarian. My aunt has had horrible arthritis for 40 years and
she is NOT a vegetarian. Please check out Dr. McDougalls website before
you jump to these conclusions.
