I may have some idea why antibiotics work. Skin inflamations are a result of too much fire element. Many antibiotics are bitter and therefore, cooling. The cooling element balances out the "fire" and dissipates the inflammation. My guess is that any one of several bitter herbs would have the same effect. I have given the Indian herb, neem to friends for eczema and skin inflammations and they get good results. However, these problems usually need to be addressed from the inside also (by taking herbs internally) in order to do any long-lasting good. Sally

But much more effective is a cheap antibiotic, e.g. Doxycyclene. Dermatologists don't know the cause of Rosacea, and they don't know why antibiotics control it. They just know it works, so they prescribe it. Perform an experiment of gradually reducing the doseage to find the amount needed to keep the Rosacea from appearing. My personal experience is that 3 capsules a week is sufficient. The archives have some accounts of CS helping with psoriasis. --Steve Y. ----- Original Message ----- From: "MED" To: Sent: Thursday, November 25, 2004 9:51 AM Subject: CS>Rosacea Does anyone have any experience with CS and Rosacea and/or flaky dermatitis/psoriasis?
