It is all permanently lubricated. Example- it's legal to haul small propane tanks in enclosed vehicles but not 100# tanks; they must be standing upright in an open truck and well secured. My local propane company refused to fill my 100# tank the other day because I brought it in a van; didn't matter that it was a work van. I had to go get one of my open trucks.
