Well for dogs and cats with this problem (have more experience in this area)
I switch them to a raw meaty bone diet (species appropriate) and add Omega 3's and some supplement like kelp alfalfa, vit A & D vit B complex (no yeast human grade) and vit E (all natural vitamins no dyes, no dairy. Sorry about the dairy but unless the milk and milk products are raw the calcium is not absorbed properly IMO. We see great improvements in the dog or cats health. It takes time for the body to detox and the LAST to heal is the skin. the body excretes excess to what the kidneys and liver can detox through the eyes, ears and skin. Also emotional shock can trigger some skin problems and the location of it can sometimes lead to clues as to the shock that triggered that particular episode or chronic illness. This info a "DHS" (traumatic shock) is from German New Medicine. www.newmedicine.ca Fairly easy to get a general idea. This second one I find hard to navigate http://germannewmedicine.ca Louise -----Original Message----- From: Betsy Coffey [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, February 13, 2005 5:06 PM To: [email protected] Subject: CS>to sol about skin condition I was just wondering if you have tried a no what and dairy diet and also fatty acid supplements are beneficial for excema. _snip -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
