Well, the only one amber coloured cookware I know of is Corning "Pyrex." I
haven't heard anything negative about this product.

Old yellow glazed pottery use to contain uranium.  Made dandy sources for
testing radiation counters until they started monitoring the people when the
leave facilities, so anyone who had handled any would set the alarms off.

Hey Sol -- have you considered glass cookware?  I can't think of any reason
why it wouldn't be safe.  My next set of pots and pans will be glass ones.
