Barbara AIDS is created by lumping together symptoms of several diseases, and naming it. One criteria is the number of a type of white cell in the blood. Canada does not use that standard, so you can be diagnosed with AIDS in the US, and move to Canada and---as if by magic---, you no longer have the condition. Jim
