The idea of cultured meat -- not yet a reality -- is that proteins can
be grown in clean, sterile laboratory conditions, providing the taste
and texture and nutritional benefits of meat, without the negative
aspects cited below, and without the need to raise animals, which is
wasteful of grains and water, and results in terrible groundwater
pollution.
I am familiar with the Weston Price Foundation and admire their work,
but I do not know that they have any position on -- or knowledge of --
the cultured meat concept.
