Morton is a brand name for common chemical table salt.
Rock salt would work too, and faster, if loaded into a 12 gauge [shotgun] ;-)
Bird seed in a shotgun makes has beens out of wood bees.
..then, there's the sport of bad-bee-minton.
[Hey, I'd leave them bee if they'd stop drilling 1/2 inch holes down the
entire length of the rafters. Those bees will hollow out a treated 2x10 in
a year or two. Too bad for those table manners, I actually like those guys
except for that.]

At one time these monster toads(one toad was in flower garden(5lbs.) were
prop-
agating so fast that we had to take dire measures for our small children as
well as
all the pets. When I spied one I would have water spray bottle on hand and
some
Morton salt. I'd spray the toad then drop a handfull of salt on them. The
next time
I saw them they were like petrified(dried up).
