We-ell, Gertrude, it's one of those things one may know about but not always do. If for any reason I take a mouthful of VCNO - and sometimes in the morning rush for whatever reason I do, it calms the pangs of hunger - I will hold it in my mouth and swish through, but I can't lay claim to doing it on a regular basis.
While I was a way for a month recently I took a small container of VCNO (Kokonut Oil, Canberra, Australia; www.kokonutpacific.com.au) with me overseas, and every morning swished it, just a teaspoonful, and sprayed throat with the CS/DMSO/Xylitol/MSM/HimalayanSalt mix. It snowed every where I went, and I was really travelling, only staying two nights or so in each place, and food was just what the hosts provided (the poorest family ate the best!). I got through without a day's illness (though when I came back I really had to work hard to beat something that was trying to drag me down; probably my own fault for sitting up late at the computer and getting cold?) I lent out my Far Infrared Sauna while I was gone, just had my first one for weeks last night. I don't have experience with the other oils for swishing. Somewhat more regular is my "VCNO" chocolate. A mix of nuts and seeds, whole or ground, with desiccated coconut, cocoa, spices like cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, etc. and some xylitol, (or occasionally perhaps sugar or honey, and I may try date syrup one day) mixed with VCNO and allowed to set in the fridge in such a way as to be able to grab a piece when needed. The dry mix can be premixed for quick preparation. It can be set in ice block trays, flat baking trays in between waxed paper, in a large ziplock bag, flattened out, on a plastic tray between waxed paper, or greaseproof paper, etc. Flat mix scored into squares for easy snapping off. Once set, pieces can be snapped off and kept in a container in fridge. Non-hydrogenated oil liquifies at temps in the mid 70s. so you need to keep it in the fridge unless your house is very cold. I often have it AS breakfast. Nowadays the only other oil I regularly use is olive, though I do have some other oils waiting to be opened - avocado, sesame, walnut. I have read good reports of VCNO benefits with thyroid. Rowena Rowena hello, Good idea...do you take it in the morning....before breakfast? I have all different kinds of oil....coconut...sesam...sunflower,olive oil,grape-pit oil....what is the best for the OP remedy? Trudy...always cooking with coconutoil the last time....for the thyroids a good stuff. -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
