The center electrode remains clean and shiny; as do alternate outside
electrodes. The time to prepare a batch will significantly drop if I do not
have to clean those 4 wires.

Bruce, the maker, says to clean them all after each run.

Hi Jim,

Since the center electrode is the cathode, I would wrap it with a piece of
white paper table napkin and hold it in place with a couple of pieces of
plastic coated twistems.

When the brew is finish just slide off the paper and things are clean and no
sparklies.

Works well for me !

Not so loud! I think we get the message.

Would that hold true for a system that is running at 170 VDC with 9
electrodes; one central electrode, and 8 evenly spaced around it? I do not
know the pulse sequence or timing, but alternating electrodes in the circle
remains bright, as does the center one.

            TIA,

                        Jim
