For self-treatment and relief
there is an easy to find spot, right under the ankle bone, in the middle of the 
side where the hurt is.
Applying a little bit of pressure there, while searching the spot, you will 
find it almost directly.
Now: apply the pressure NOT GOING OVER the pain-barrier. 
Use the three seconds method: press in little clockwise circles for a while, 
then release, and press again. 
So do three times. You can repeat this a few times a day. 
It does not matter what the cause of the trouble is: You will find relief.
